Requiem

Requiem was born following the death of my uncle, a deeply influential figure in shaping the person I am today. He embodied trust, humor, warmth, and hospitality. The Beauce region.

His presence was comforting. He effortlessly reached out to others with disarming ease, making everyone feel immediately at home.

After he passed, a deep nostalgia set in, but above all, a clear need emerged: to recreate a form of warmth, of comfort, like a peaceful cocoon where one can simply exist without tension. An intimate refuge, a way to transform discomfort into an enveloping sensation.

His departure also left a deeper imprint, an existential awakening, which continues to illuminate my path today. This feeling remains present in my ongoing search for beauty, connection, and meaning through creation.
